CurioCity: STEAM and Beyond

Join me on Saturday, May 14th from 2-4 pm for a CurioCity workshop at the Studio makerspace at Billie Jean King Main Library. CurioCity is a series of in-person programming designed to introduce participants ages 12 and up to a wide array of creative interests within the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).

In my workshop we will be creating lanterns from air dry clay. Participants will learn basic ceramic handbuilding techniques and use geometry to build candle holders. We will learn how to roll slabs of clay, decorate them through carving and painting, and assemble them to create a fully functional geometric lantern that students can take home.

You can reserve FREE tickets here.
