I've donated a piece to the Homecoming Dance Social, an epic benefit dance party on October 19th from 8:30-11:30 pm at the beautiful Union + Pine in Portland, Oregon to raise money and awareness for immigrants affected by the zero tolerance policy.

The evening will feature the amazing DJ rev shine, yummy lite bites, delicious drinks and an opportunity to win a number of incredible prizes, like a handcrafted planter by me! One raffle ticket will be included per entry ticket.

All proceeds from the event will benefit ACLU and Innovation Law Lab.

This weekend, one of my favorite events in LA takes place - CLAY LA! On Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9 from 11:30am–6:00pm, the Craft and Folk Art Museum hosts their annual ceramic marketplace and fundraiser featuring emerging and established ceramic makers in the greater Los Angeles area. CLAY LA is the leading marketplace to find innovative and inventive makers and ceramic objects. Celebrate clay and local artists during this fun weekend of shopping, clay workshops, music, and drinks! The event is free with admission.

I was featured in Voyage LA's Thought-Provokers series, which seeks to support local art and artists. Voyage LA believes that the culture and heritage of Los Angeles owes a tremendous debt to the arts community and through this series hopes to showcase artists living in and around LA and highlight their contributions to this awesome, creative place.
