Policies and FAQS


Minimum for first orders is $300. Reorders can be any amount. Any custom items requested and delivered are final sale and will not be refunded.


All orders are made to order and will take about three to five weeks to ship once an order is placed. During the holiday season (September through December), it may take up to 8 weeks to get your order. If customization is desired or your order is time-sensitive, please send us an email. A tracking email will be sent once the item has shipped from our studio.

All ceramics wares are shipped using recycled cardboard and packing paper and compostable packing peanuts. Gopi Shah Ceramics works to ensure each package is properly packaged and secured so that your order gets to you unharmed. We are not liable for lost or stolen packages or additional shipping charges incurred from incorrect and non-validated shipping addresses.


Though Gopi Shah Ceramics packages all orders with care, due to the fragile nature of pottery, some items may arrive damaged. If your item is damaged or broken upon receipt, please contact us to have it replaced or refunded. We will need photos of the product as well as the packaging to submit a claim. 


Invoices not paid within seven days of arrival of goods will incur a 10% fee per week until payment in full is received. Buyer accepts this fee when placing an order and shall pay this fee to Gopi Shah Ceramics within 30 days of original invoice due date.


All ceramic wares are handmade using mid-fire stoneware with lead-free and food safe glazes. All dinnerware is microwave and dishwasher safe; however, hand washing is preferred as it will prolong the longevity of the piece.
