This French butter keeper is used to keep your butter fresh and soft, to be able to spread it easily on your morning toast.
Measures: 4" x 3.25"
Soften a stick of butter for an hour or two on your countertop
Add butter to the top portion by pressing it in with the back of a spoon
Add a half inch of water to the bottom portion (only enough to create a seal with the top)
Slide the top into the bottom and leave on your counter
When you want to use it, open the keeper and use a knife to spread your butter
